We are affiliated with the Smith College Conway Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center. The CIEC is a resource at Smith College providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to address financial issues that may arise in their personal, professional, family and community lives. CIEC used to be WFI (Center for Women & Financial Independence).

Stock Pitch Competition

The Smith College Investment Club (SCIC) holds the Smith College Stock Pitch Competition annually. The club will purchase the winning stock for the club portfolio. Pitch your favorite!

Sector Pitches

Our members are responsible for presenting stock pitches on a bi-monthly basis. Each sector group is headed by a sector head, who coordinates a group effort to work on a presentation. Our faculty club advisor, Roger Kaufman, is present at these meetings to provide advice from a professional and academic standpoint. We also consult various financial firms for advice on portfolio management.
